Curly & Wavy Hair Maintenance

Hey Vixens! It's Rene Marie and I'm here to give you a few tips on daily hair care maintenance on how to keep up with your Mink Brazilian hair collection from Rene Marie Collection to stay looking healthy, manageable and most importantly reusable. We all know without the proper maintenance our hair won't last that's why it's great to follow our hair care cards that come with your order because they're made for that exact order. Have you heard the impression "Treat your hair extensions, wigs like your own crown of hair"? it's because your hair is very important you should wash your hair with good quality shampoo and conditioning products.

Curly & Wavy Hair Maintenance

For best results Co washing your curly and/or wavy hair with cool water instead of hot water because it helps lock in the moisture in the curls meanwhile hot water will loosen the curls or wave pattern. Co washing is a short term for "conditioner", Co washing meaning without using shampoo. We advise to let air dry to help keep the curls and wavy pattern intact. 

Curl defining / Curl control

It is mandatory to apply a curl defining / curl control cream while the hair is wet to help stop the hair from becoming frizzy, getting really big, poofy & lock in the wave or curl pattern. Using these items below will help give the hair a nice, soft, and tamed wet look while it's drying.

***Remember the more heat that you use the harder it will be to retract the hair back it's natural curl or wave pattern.***
