It's Rene Marie and I'm here to give you a few tips on daily hair care maintenance on how to keep up with your Mink Brazilian hair collection from Rene Marie Collection to stay looking healthy, manageable and most importantly reusable. We all know without the proper maintenance our hair won't last that's why it's great to follow our hair care cards that come with your order because they're made for that exact order. Have you heard the impression "Treat your hair extensions, wigs like your own crown of hair"? it's because your hair is very important you should wash your hair with good quality shampoo and conditioning products.

Before Installing Your Extensions
Although, we do shampoo + condition and let all orders air dry prior to shipping out I strongly suggest that you co-wash your extensions for the best results due to your package being thrown around in the mail facility and on the courier trucks it is a huge possibility that debris, dust particles will be on the packaging or inside the boxes while in transit. When you are rinsing out all the conditioner from the hair be sure that there are no suds left, this is one of the most important steps because failure to wash out all of the conditioners will leave residue which will cause the hair to become stiff and dull than once again let your hair air dry.(Applying heat to your hair extensions can lessen the timeframe for the longevity of your hair. If choosing to use a blow dryer use a heat protectant and blow dry on low settings at all times).
Pro of Conditioning Your Extensions
Conditioning your hair is very important to maintaining that soft look and manageable upkeeping, we recommend using a deep conditioner on your Mink Brazilian hair once per week, try to avoid using heavy oils or heavy styling products that contain such product. Combing your hair with a wide tooth comb gently from ends to weft helps keep the pressure off the weft area and is a great way to maintain the longevity of your hair investment. (Longevity: long life.)
Before Going To Bed
Gently brush your hair with a paddle brush or wide tooth comb from ends to weft to remove any tangles from the day. Section your hair into 4 sections and add 4 nice big braids, wrap your edges with your "sleep pretty set" melt belt and/or satin wrap then cover with your satin bonnet.
We advise you to never go to bed on wet or damp hair. Going to sleep on wet or damp hair can cause your hair to become matted or start forming a mildew smell which makes the hair very difficult to deal with in the way you would like to manage.

If you are not familiar with custom coloring, we do offer a free complimentary Jet Black custom coloring service, all other colors and designs at a range of prices from professional colorist. Our hair quality is a great investment, you do not want to ruin the hair quality by over processing. When purchasing any lace products such as Closures, Frontals and/or Wigs from Rene Marie Co,. they will be bleached and slightly pre-plucked to save our Vixens some time and money. We always advise to let the professional's bleach and/or color your investment even if it's as simple as applying semi-permanent Jet Black rinse.
***Remember the more heat that you use the more it can cause more damage to your extensions***
